[Saba Sports News] According to reports from Italian
media, Napoli forward Victor Osimhen returned to Africa the previous week to
address personal debt matters. It has been reported that Osimhen sustained an
injury during a national team match in October. Subsequently, he requested
permission from Napoli to return to his hometown in Nigeria for his recovery.
This recent return to his home country was related to dealing with his own
debts as well as those of his brother-in-law. His brother-in-law, Osita Okolo,
accused Osimhen of failing to pay a transfer commission of 500,000 euros. In
2020, Osimhen’s brother-in-law collaborated with his agent to facilitate the
transfer to Napoli.
