Sports News] In the second leg of the Europa League play-offs, Roma defeated
Feyenoord, securing a total score of 6-4 through a penalty shootout and
advancing to the top 16 of the Europa League. It is notable that Roma and
Feyenoord have faced each other in European competitions over the past three
seasons. In each of these encounters, Roma emerged as the victor, including the
UEFA Europa League finals of the 2021-22 season, the quarter-finals of the
2022-23 season, and the current Europa League play-offs. Furthermore, in the
2014-15 season’s Europa League round of 32, Roma also overcame Feyenoord with
an aggregate score of 3-2. Following the game, Roma’s official Twitter account
posted an image featuring the team logos of Roma and Feyenoord. Above the
logos, the caption “Roma, Again” was written, followed by Roman numerals
representing the years of their victories: 2015, 2022, 2023, and 2024. The
tweet from Roma’s official account also included the text “1, 2, 3,
4” with a waving goodbye emoji. Additionally, the official Twitter account
retweeted a photo of Francesco Totti, a Roma legend, being drawn against
Feyenoord in the past, accompanied by the comment “But we still met.”
