Sports News] During the 27th round of the Premier League, Chelsea played an
away game against Brentford and drew 2-2. However, it seems that Mauricio
Pochettino’s birthday curse has persisted. In the 35th minute of the match,
Nicolas Jackson scored a header, giving Chelsea the lead. However, things took
a turn in the second half. In the 50th minute, Rasmussen equalized for
Brentford from a small penalty area. Then, in the 69th minute, Yoane Wissa
scored an impressive overhead kick in the penalty area, resulting in Brentford
taking the lead. Chelsea managed to salvage a draw in the 83rd minute when Axel
Disasi scored with a header. Despite avoiding a defeat at Brentford for the
first time in 85 years, Chelsea still faced two curses. Firstly, they have been
unable to secure a victory against Brentford in their last six league matches,
with only two draws and four losses. Secondly, Pochettino continued his curse
of never winning a Premier League match on his birthday. In the four games he
has managed on his birthday, he has achieved only one draw and suffered three
losses.
