[Saba Sports News] The Los Angeles Clippers’ upcoming $2 billion stadium in Inglewood, California, was the site of an unauthorized visit last week, as two teenagers infiltrated the facility and broadcasted their escapade on TikTok. They gained access at night by utilizing a ladder inadvertently left by construction workers, openly recording themselves without disguising their identities.
Their adventure included wandering through various areas of the not-yet-completed arena, shooting basketballs on what seemed to be a practice court, and playfully using a fire extinguisher to create a fog-like effect. The incident didn’t escape local authorities’ notice, with Inglewood Mayor James E. Butts acknowledging the identification of the trespassers and their families, hinting at consequences to underscore the seriousness of their actions.
This security lapse, especially following recent mockery over their new logo, is another blow to the Clippers’ public image, highlighting a need for heightened security measures at their high-profile venue.
