[Saba Sports News] According to reports,
the Governor of Milan, Claudio Sgaraglia, has announced a ban on ticket sales
to Napoli fans for the upcoming Serie A match between Inter and Napoli. The
decision is based on safety concerns. The match is scheduled to take place
during the 29th round of Serie A, with Inter Milan hosting Napoli. Governor
Sgaraglia stated that the Sports Event Security Analysis Committee, in
consultation with the local police, has decided to prohibit the sale of tickets
to residents of the Campania region, where Naples is located. The only
exception will be for Campania residents holding Inter Milan fan IDs. The
decision is made in order to protect public order, security, and safety. The
Sports Event Security Analysis Committee has cited a violent clash between
extreme fans of Inter Milan and Napoli on December 26, 2018, as the basis for
their concerns. They believe that the desire for revenge among fans of both
teams is still prevalent, and this match could potentially lead to new
conflicts and impact public order and safety.
