[Saba Sports News] This year marks the 20th
anniversary of the F1 Shanghai Grand Prix, and various businesses are taking
advantage of the occasion to organize themed events. Among them is Qatar
Airways, which recently held an F1-themed pop-up event in Shanghai. Through a
range of engaging interactive experiences, fans had the opportunity to get up
close to racing culture and get excited for the 2024 F1 Chinese Grand Prix. The
event featured racing simulators, virtual reality (VR) experiences, remote
control racing, as well as prize draws for special air tickets. In February of
the previous year, Qatar Airways became the global partner and official airline
of the Formula One World Championship. In February of this year, the airline
announced its title sponsorship of four F1 events in the 2024 season, namely
the Austrian Grand Prix, the British Grand Prix, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and
the Qatar Grand Prix. These sponsorships underscore Qatar Airways’ support and
focus on motorsports. Additionally, Qatar Airways Holidays is launching its
popular F1 Fan Experience package for select F1 Championship destinations. The
package includes round-trip flights, hotel accommodations, airport transfers,
visits to team bases and races, exclusive access to grandstand tickets, and
more.
