Sports News] In recent news, the chairman of Dinamo Zagreb, Zajetz, purchased
advertising space in the Spanish newspaper “Marca” to extend an
invitation to Luka Modric, urging him to return to the team. Currently,
Modric’s contract with Real Madrid is set to expire this summer. Spanish media
reports suggest that the Croatian midfielder may leave the club as a free agent
at the end of the season. In response, Dinamo Zagreb’s chairman, Zadec, decided
to buy a section of “Marca” and print Modric’s No. 10 jersey on it,
accompanied by the message: “Joining us means a lot, it means everything
in the world.” Modric began his professional career at Dinamo Zagreb,
where he played 80 matches, scoring 25 goals and providing 21 assists. A
potential return to Dinamo Zagreb in the later stages of his career would be
seen as a homecoming for Modric.
