Sports News] According to reports from Spanish media, Barcelona president Joan
Laporta i Estruch treated the entire team to a meal at a burger restaurant
chain on the streets of Paris following their triumph over Paris Saint-Germain
in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Laporta, known for his
exuberance in celebrating important victories, fully expressed his joy on this
occasion. He embraced the players enthusiastically, spoke passionately, and
made promises to reward the team. While Barcelona’s victory over PSG doesn’t
guarantee their place in the semi-finals, it does provide them with an
advantage. After the match, Laporta individually congratulated the players,
although his enthusiasm was somewhat toned down compared to previous instances.
However, he suddenly had the idea to reward the players with burgers as a token
of appreciation for their efforts. It goes to show that when a club president
is in a jubilant mood, anything is possible.
