Sports News] According to reports from Italian media, Lazio has decided to
impose disciplinary measures on Luis Alberto and Matteo Guendouzi for separate
incidents. Luis Alberto expressed his desire to terminate his contract and
leave the team following Lazio’s 4-1 victory over Salernitana. In a statement
to the media, he stated, “I don’t want to earn even one euro from Lazio
anymore. I have asked to be terminated directly from my contract.” Lazio,
however, has made it clear that they will not accept his request and will take
disciplinary action against him. It should be noted that Luis Alberto still has
two years remaining on his contract with Lazio. In the case of Mattéo
Guendouzi, a conflict arose between him and the coach during training. When
informed that he would be part of the training group for substitute players,
Guendouzi displayed dissatisfaction. During tactical exercises, he repeatedly
disregarded coach Igor Tudor’s instructions and responded rudely. He eventually
left the training center and returned to the locker room. Lazio has also stated
that they will deal with Guendouzi’s behavior seriously.
