[Saba Sports News] During Wednesday’s game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue was ejected.
His ejection came after receiving a second technical foul, which automatically leads to an ejection. Lue was defending Mason Plumlee, who was upset that officials didn’t penalize Draymond Green for what seemed to be a foul as Green made contact with Plumlee under the basket during an attempted shot.
Plumlee’s frustration over the non-call led him to commit two fouls against Brandin Podziemski, which then resulted in a foul being called on him. This incident not only led to Lue’s ejection but also saw Plumlee being charged with a Flagrant-1 foul. Additionally, Golden State’s Jonathan Kuminga received a technical foul related to the skirmish.
At the time of the game, the Clippers were holding a record of 35-17, placing them third in the Western Conference, while the Warriors were at 26-25, riding a five-game winning streak.
