[Saba Sports News] In the European Championship
qualifiers held earlier this week, Denmark faced off against San Marino,
resulting in an unsurprising victory for Denmark. However, during the match,
Danish star and current Manchester United player, Rasmus Hojlund, was subjected
to a foul by a San Marino defender, which caused dissatisfaction among many
Danish players. In a post-match interview, Hojlund expressed his anger and
criticised San Marino defender Dimayo. He stated that the opponent played with
brutality and intentionally caused harm, describing it as an action unrelated
to fair football competition. Despite the incident, the opponent only received
a yellow card penalty.
