[Saba Sports News] The F1 Middle East Grand Prix,
scheduled for March this year, will undergo adjustments due to the start of
Ramadan on March 10, 2024. As a result, the race will be held on March 9, which
falls on a Saturday. This will mark the first time in F1 history that two
consecutive races are held on Saturdays. Typically, F1 races span three days,
with Friday practice, Saturday practice and qualifying, followed by the main
race on Sunday. The 2024 F1 season comprises a record-breaking 24 races, and it
will commence with back-to-back races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Both races
have been moved forward by 24 hours to accommodate the holy period of Ramadan
in the Muslim calendar. The season will start on March 2, 2024, at the Bahrain
International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain, and conclude on December 8, 2024, at
the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
