[Saba Sports News] Kagiso Rabada continued to inflict damage on India, claiming all wickets that fell in the second session of day’s play.
Rabada broke the 68-run stand between Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, who got cleaned up in the first over post-lunch.
Soon after, the fast-bowler dismissed Kohli via a corker as the latter edged the ball to the South African wicket-keeper.
Ravichandran Ashwin too flattered to deceive, getting out after scoring eight runs.
India had lost their six wickets for 121 runs, reeling far away from a respectable total. However, fighting against the odds, KL Rahul and Shardul Thakur counterpunched their way out of misery, forging a vital 43-run partnership.
Just when India were threatening to take the game away, Rabada again gave South Africa the upper hand with Shardul’s dismissal.
At tea, India are at 176/7 with Rahul batting on 39 runs.
