[Saba Sports News] England have announced two changes in their playing XI for the second Test of the ongoing five-match series against India, commencing on February 2 in Visakhapatnam.
Shoaib Bashir has been handed his debut cap. He comes in place of Jack Leach, who injured himself in the previous match.
Veteran fast-bowler James Anderson has also been included in the XI as the only pacer. He replaces Mark Wood, who did not take a single wicket in Hyderabad.
The Three Lions earned an unlikely win in the last Test despite conceding a 190-run in the first innings. Ollie Pope’s 196 and Tom Hartley’s seven wicket-haul in the second innings helped England in gaining a 1-0 lead.
