[Saba Sports News] Former West Indies batter Chris Gayle, known for his explosive batting, is exploring various avenues after retirement. Besides his music talent, Gayle has expressed interest in Bollywood, revealing that he’s received offers from the industry.
“Bollywood has been calling my name in recent times, and I’m pretty familiar with the movie industry in India. Recently, I did a commercial over there in India with a Bollywood actor, and it’s something special to look forward to from the Universe Boss in the near future,” Gayle shared.
He also mentioned his music album, ‘Tropical House – Cruises to Jamaica,’ which has been submitted for consideration at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Gayle expressed pride in being the headliner of the album and mentioned collaborations with Grammy winners Ms. Lauryn Hill, Morgan Heritage, and reggae stars Capleton and Sizzla.
Gayle discussed his music journey and the camaraderie with all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, both passionate about music and their island culture. He emphasized that cricket remains a significant part of his life, no matter where his other ventures take him.
