Sports News] According to reports from the British media, FC Fans United, a
third-tier Montenegrin club, recently made a social media post expressing their
opposition to the creation of the European Super League. The post read,
“Please don’t take away our dream, do not create the European Super
League, let us continue to pursue our dreams together with all small
clubs.” Surprisingly, Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who
currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, liked the post, drawing
attention and leading to speculation that Ronaldo is also against the European
Super League. Although the Sports Court had previously declared the European
Super League legal, the project faced significant challenges as it emerged and
collapsed within a span of just two days. Many clubs that had initially
committed to joining the league later withdrew their participation. This caused
difficulties for the establishment of the European Super League, forcing
organizers to seek alternative ways to proceed.
