[Saba Sports News]Recently, Major
League Soccer team Inter Miami traveled to Argentina to play a friendly match
against Newell’s Old Boys, and their star player Lionel Messi, who was formerly
a member of the club, made an appearance. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. After
the match, Newell’s midfielder Esteban stood out among the many players who
wanted to exchange jerseys with Messi and successfully received his jersey.
Esteban expressed his gratitude on social media, writing, “Dreams come
true, your happiness is our happiness.”When Messi was just six years old,
he joined the youth academy of Newell’s Old Boys. During his six years with the
club, his performances were remarkable. However, due to Messi’s illness,
Newell’s Old Boys couldn’t afford the expensive growth hormone treatment, and
he was eventually discovered by FC Barcelona, a La Liga team. Messi moved to
Europe and developed his career, becoming the world-class player we know today.
