[Saba Sports News] Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo recently shared his unique take on new teammate, veteran guard Patrick Beverley, following their 124-117 win against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Antetokounmpo humorously characterized Beverley, saying, “He’s one of those guys that — sorry for my language — that you say, ‘he’s an a-hole.’ But when he plays on your team, like, ‘that’s my a-hole.’ You know? And I love him,” Antetokounmpo said. “We love playing with him. He’s a leader, he knows how to play the game. He’s a winner.”
He praised Beverley’s leadership, game knowledge, and winning mentality, highlighting the positive impact of his presence on the team. Beverley, who has been with seven NBA teams, is known for his intense loyalty and tenacity on the court, traits that have now endeared him to the Bucks. Despite playing only 16 minutes in the game, his contribution of five points, four rebounds, and two steals exemplified the valuable role he plays for the team.
