Sports News] According to recent reports from Italian media, there have been
discussions within Juventus regarding the termination of Paul Pogba’s contract.
It is suggested that Juventus may not terminate the contract immediately, but
instead continue to pay Pogba the minimum salary until June next year. This
decision is reportedly influenced by Italy’s growth laws, which state that
early termination of a contract before two years have passed may require the
repayment of previously saved taxes. In order to avoid paying millions of euros
in back taxes, Juventus could choose to pay Pogba the minimum salary
(approximately 42,477 euros per year) until the contract reaches the two-year
mark in June next year, at which point they would terminate the contract.
