Sports News] In the 22nd round of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich suffered an
unexpected 2-3 loss to Bochum on the field, marking their third consecutive
defeat in all competitions. They currently trail the league leaders,
Leverkusen, by eight points, and their championship prospects are not looking
optimistic. After the match, Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich and
assistant coach Zsolt Low engaged in a heated argument, almost coming to blows.
According to reports from German media, Kimmich, in his anger, demanded an
explanation from Low, saying, “One of you has to explain it to me.”
When Kimmich was substituted during the game, he expressed his frustration by
shouting from the bench, “How can you replace me?” It is reported
that the coaching staff’s strategy was to have Leon Goretzka as the sole
defensive midfielder, with two offensive players ahead of him. However, this
reasoning failed to convince Kimmich, leading to his discontent. On Monday,
local time, Kimmich had a discussion about the incident with Thomas Tuchel, but
the meeting did not succeed in improving the relationship between the two
parties.
