[Saba Sports News] In the recently concluded
World Cup qualifying match, Japan secured an easy 5-0 victory over Myanmar.
Following the game, Myanmar’s coach, Fechetenbair, expressed satisfaction with
the team’s performance. Fechetenbair stated, “Even though we ultimately
lost, I am still content. Honestly, I never had expectations of defeating Japan
from the start. Our focus during the match was on defensive play to avoid an
embarrassing scoreline like 0-10.” He further mentioned that Myanmar would
give their all in the upcoming matches against Syria and North Korea.
Considering that Japan fielded their key players, most of whom are based in
Europe, the loss was anticipated. Fechetenbair expressed hope that the defeat
wouldn’t be a devastating one.
