[Saba Sports News] Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has received an invitation to the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22. Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Dr. SG Suryah and Vice-President Venkatraman C personally delivered the invitation to Ashwin at his home in Chennai. This event, organized by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, is drawing significant attention with over 6000 invites sent out.
Ashwin joins a list of notable figures invited to the ceremony, including former India captain MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar. Dhoni received his invitation in Ranchi from RSS co-province secretary Dhananjay Singh and Jharkhand State BJP Organisation General Secretary.
The event began with the ceremonial installation of the Ram Lalla idol, created by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, marking the start of the grand celebrations.
