Sports News] Recent news from German media suggests that Zinedine Zidane, the
renowned French coach who has been out of work for a while, is emerging as the
top contender to become the next coach of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Following the announcement of Thomas Tuchel’s resignation at the end of the
season, speculation surrounding Bayern’s next coach has become a hot topic.
Zidane, in particular, has garnered significant interest from Bayern fans. It
is reported that a close friend of Zidane revealed that he has been contacted
by Bayern and is eager to return to coaching. Zidane has expressed his
willingness to coach Bayern, as he believes there are many similarities between
Bayern and his former club, Real Madrid. Both clubs have a rich history,
excellent working conditions, and similar operating styles. Consequently,
coaching Bayern is an opportunity Zidane has never turned down. Zidane
previously coached Real Madrid twice, from January 5, 2016, to May 2018, and
from March 12, 2019, to May 27, 2021. Throughout his tenure, Zidane led the
team in 263 games, achieving 174 wins, 53 draws, and 36 losses, with an
impressive win rate of 72.75%.
