[Saba Sports News] The Haas F1 Team has released
an advertisement for the position of chief operating officer (COO) following
the departure of their former team leader, Guenther Steiner. The COO will be
based in Banbury, England. The Haas F1 Team operates in a complex manner, with
offices in multiple countries. The team’s headquarters is located in the former
Marussia F1 factory in Banbury, Australia. Additionally, they have two design
offices in Italy, one at Ferrari’s Maranello factory and another at the Dallara
factory. Furthermore, the team has an office in Charlotte, USA. According to
the team’s development plan, Ayao Komatsu will oversee the day-to-day
operations of the team, while the chief operating officer will focus on broader
strategic matters. The ideal candidate for the COO position, as stated in the
Haas F1 Team’s recruitment requirements, should have extensive experience,
including at least ten years in a management role in Formula One. They should possess
unique commercial and management expertise, as well as be familiar with
motorsport practices, policies, and procedures. There have been speculations in
the media that Paddy Lowe is the frontrunner to become the new CEO of the Haas
F1 team. Paddy Lowe has previously held leadership positions at McLaren and has
had brief stints at Williams and Ferrari.
