[Saba Sports News] Jeremy Sochan didn’t miss his chance to respond to Devin Booker after Thursday’s match. Sochan’s San Antonio Spurs emerged victorious against Booker’s Phoenix Suns with a final score of 132-121. Despite the Spurs holding a lead of up to 27 points, the Suns mounted a late comeback, narrowing the gap to just three points with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. During a timeout, Booker engaged in trash talk with Sochan.
Phoenix managed to tie the game at 116 with four minutes remaining, but San Antonio ultimately secured the win with a decisive 16-5 run to close out the game. Sochan celebrated his victory on his social media page. In response to a clip of Booker’s trash-talking moment, he ruthlessly wrote, “They lost, post the rest.”
Sochan’s celebration was well-deserved, considering his impressive performance of 14 points, five rebounds, and nine assists in the game. He also got the better of Booker with a crucial block during the match, showcasing his defensive skills.
On Booker’s side, he was making his comeback after missing three games due to an ankle injury, so it’s understandable that he was enthusiastic. However, Booker should be aware by now that talking trash during games often doesn’t end well for him.
